Me and my four mates were about twenty rows from the front. The rest of the festival had been a bit subdued: Finlay Quaye had just been booed off and everyone was getting impatient. Then came Madness. We just had time to grab hold of each other before the dancing/moshing began. It was like standing in the middle of a hurricane. We got battered from all sides and had massive grins on our faces throughout.
In 97 i was living in London and once in a pub i choose that song from thejukebox: all the people there started to dance leaving food and beers on the tables 😂😂😂
Geez, I was there! Heard about it just a few weeks before the event, bought tickets over the phone and a flight for me and my girlfriend from Germany! One of the best decisions ever!!! ❤
